Finals Night
Rodeo stars vie for championship and $400,000 in prize money. |
The Snake River Stampede features all
seven PRCA approved rodeo events. Professional & world
champion cowboys and barrel racers will compete for top prize
money each performance. The top finishers will return Saturday
night for a finals performance.
Calf Scramble
Tuesday Night and Saturday Matinee
The Calf Scramble is an event that supports
the youth of the Treasure Valley that began in 1999 to encourage
free enterprise, responsibility & educational opportunity.
Each event involves 20 young people who compete for 10 calves
released in the arena. The winners receive a $1,000 certificate
for the purchase of a purebred beef or dairy heifer. The young
people are supervised in raising their animals by their FFA or
4-H club leaders. During the year, the winners are encouraged
to show their heifer at breed shows or county fairs.
Foundation Patrons: $1,000
for one calf will receive the following:
• Name recognition by the Rodeo Announcer
during the Calf Scramble Event.
• Name recognition in the SRS Rodeo program as a Foundation Patron.
• Two rodeo tickets to one performance that will include the Calf Scramble
Event.
• Periodical newsletters and progress reports during the year from the
Calf Scramble Committee.
• Opportunity to interact with the young people in the program.
Calf Scramble Friends will
receive announcer recognition (as time
permits) and the periodical newsletter and reports.
Miss Rodeo Idaho
Miss Rodeo idaho page
The Miss Rodeo Idaho pageant takes place during the Stampede
week. Contestants will be announced each night at the rodeo.
Saturday Matinee
Doors open at 11:00 a.m., Rodeo starts at 12:30 p.m.
The Saturday Matinee is a hit with families.
